The core team is based in Johannesburg and is responsible for all client service, strategy, quality control, reporting, and issues management. A member of the core team is the go-to -point of contact (hub), and in turn manages the ACG Partners (spoke), in the select markets; these in-market teams execute and coordinate local activities.

As the hub, we are the day-to-day contact with clients, coordinating briefing and liaising with markets; generating content; and providing guidance and quality control on PR material and plans, templates, processes, toolkits, briefing documents, and reporting.

The local partners would facilitate any relevant local editing of approved content supplied by the hub (i.e. local nuances, translations, contact details on boilerplate, etc.), distribution of press materials, press office activity, media relations, etc., as well as account management, reporting into and liaising with the hub.

We find that this model works best, as it provides clients with one centralised point of contact. The hub team and in-market teams are constantly in touch and provide one consolidate work-in-progress report on a regular basis.
